Low computer literacy is affecting my business positively

Business Centres operations are still flourishing in Nigeria due to low computer illiteracy. Despite the technology trends in Nigeria and internet and digital devices penetration, low computer literacy still forces demand for business centre services.

Business Centres in Nigeria for the past decades, has played a huge role in Entrepreneurship success across the country. They offer critical access to business office administration services such document typing, scanning, photocopy/printing and internet services, etc that helps businesses and Entrepreneurs effectively communicate and complete transactions.

At the turn of the decade, despite fall in prices of acquiring computers and it accessories, many Entrepreneurs still patronize these operators for these essential office services and it’s oftentimes as a result of lack of digital skills, knowledge, time or convenience.

Pocarti.com talked to owner of Delight Business Centre and he opened up on the matter. “A few number of Nigerians are literate in the world of computer and its usage. Some of my customers have laptop at home but still come to my business centre to do their typesetting etc. Low computer literacy is affecting my business positively.”
